  5. NetCon offers convenient and versatile DOS and Windows-to-UNIX(R) 
  6. and UNIX-to-UNIX connectivity for SunSoft's Solaris(TM) x86 
  7. operating environment, without need for additional servers or 
  8. software. In addition, for any LAN that includes a Novell(R) 
  9. NetWare(R) server, NetCon software allows a UNIX-based computer to 
  10. be configured as either a client or server under NetWare. For 
  11. UNIX-to-UNIX communication, NetCon supplies multithreaded IPX(TM) 
  12. and SPX protocols that support both Ethernet and Token Ring 
  13. without need for TCP/IP or NFS(R).

  16. work group communications in heterogeneous computing environments. 
  17. The software supports transparent DOS/UNIX file exchange and bi-
  18. directional printing between UNIX and NetWare environments. DOS

  20. access all UNIX services and applications. Users can also easily

  30. SPARC(R), ensuring full interoperability between the leading CISC

  41. applications under DeskSet(TM). Numerous commercial third-party 
  42. applications, including many Microsoft(R) Windows and DOS 
  43. applications, run in the Solaris x86 environment.
